The West Virginia University wrestling program had a solid showing at the 2021 NCAA Division-I Wrestling Championships at Enterprise Center in St. Louis Missouri, March 18-20. The Four Mountaineer wrestlers performed best when the lights were brightest.

In St. Louis, WVU was led by a seventh-place finish by redshirt junior  Killian Cardinale in the 125-pound pool of the national tournament to become an All-American for the first time. With the podium finish, Cardinale become the first true All-America honoree since the Tim Flynn era began in Morgantown three seasons ago. The WVU trio of Ryan Sullivan (133), Peyton Hall (165), and Noah Adams (197) were unable to make the medal stand in St. Louis.
