Big 12
Game Info Announced for WVU vs. Colorado in Week 11
No wait needed this week, the Big 12 announced the details for WVU vs. Colorado in West Virginia’s next home game on Monday.
After the Mountaineers return from their upcoming road trip to Houston, they will host Colorado on Nov. 8. The Week 11 game will kickoff at noon ET from Milan Puskar Stadium and be broadest nationally on TNT. This will mark the second WVU game to air on TNT this season.
While Colorado has been slightly better than West Virginia, the matchup with the Buffaloes could be Rich Rodriguez’s best remaining opportunity to win his first conference game of the season and first as a member of the Big 12 in general.
Deion Sanders’ team currently sits at only one game better than WVU. Colorado is 3-5 and 1-4 in the Big 12.
But before West Virginia can worry about Colorado, they will travel to Houston to face the surprising Cougars on Saturday.
New Week, Same Story for WVU Football as Big Underdog to Houston
West Virginia is on the heels of their fifth-straight loss. On Saturday, WVU lost 23-17 to TCU in their closest loss of their losing skid. The Mountaineers last win came on Sept. 13 in a comeback victory over the rival Pitt Panthers in the Backyard Brawl.
WVU’s most recent loss dropped their overall record to 2-6 and into last place in the Big 12 at 0-5 in league play.
