High-Upside Offensive Lineman Jahmir Davis Makes Signing Official to WVU
Jahmir Davis has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to WVU, joining a loaded offensive linemen class for the Mountaineers in this cycle.
Davis comes from Cincinnati, Ohio and played his high school ball at LaSalle High School. The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Davis looks to be another key piece for a Mountaineer’s offensive line that has seen Zach Frazier drafted, Wyatt Milum as a projected first-second round draft pick and 2024 4-star Kyle Altuner.

On3 Sports and 24/7 Sports have rated Davis as a 3-star recruit. On3 Sports has also ranked Davis as a Top 40 recruit in the 2025 class for Ohio.
Davis will bring a toughness that Mountaineer fans will appreciate, too. The rising senior only held two official offers according to recruiting boards, but his process was out of his control for a full year.
Davis missed his entre junior year campaign, widely considered one of the most important years for high school athletes to get recruited. He returned to the gridiron for his senior year, and started to gain P4 attention.
Through a dominant preseason over the summer, Marshall was the first school to off Davis. As he continued to show his dominance on the field, he took a visit to Illinois, too.
WVU came in late in the process, offering Davis on November 24th, and gaining his commitment the very next day.
