Highly Coveted OL Jonas Muya Has All the Tools | WVU Football All 105

Winning the Jonas Muya sweepstakes was a key 2026 recruiting win for Rich Rodriguez and his staff.
Listed at 6-foot-7 and 280 pounds, Muya picked the Mountaineers over Power Four offers from Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Minnesota and Purdue. Muya’s commitment came right after his official visit. He then signed only 24 hours after announcing his commitment.
Muya believed in Rodriguez’s plan and wanted to learn under legendary offensive line coach Rick Trickett.
A product of Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Muya was ranked as one of the top five players in Indiana and top 50 offensive lineman in the country during his recruitment. Rivals placed Muya as the nation’s No. 36 offensive tackle for his class. He also played high school basketball before deciding to focus on the football.

Last Year: Muya played right tackle for coach Kyle Lindsay at Fort Wayne Bishop Luers High School.
Stats: As a senior, he anchored an offensive line that helped produce 1,249 passing yards and 2,552 rushing yards.
