Some say today’s game that pits West Virginia vs. Cincinnati will ignite a new rivalry, but no matter what happens in the future, it’s an important game for the Mountaineers.

WVU head coach Neal Brown is facing pressure to close out the season on a winning note before the bowl game, especially after losing in blowout fashion last week at Oklahoma. Conversely, the Bearcats’ first season in the Big 12 has been a rough one and will end without a postseason.

Brown feels his team is better than how they played against the Sooners, and this is now his chance to prove it. WVU is favored, but Cincinnati has been playing better as of late and likely won’t be a pushover.
