WVU football fans might be concerned about the Mountaineers after watching their team get blown out in Oklahoma, but oddsmakers aren’t as worried about West Virginia the rest of the season.

The early odds for WVU vs. Cincinnati shows the home team as a four-point favorite, according to Circa Sports. The home field advantage and struggles of the Bearcats to transition to the Big 12 in their first season in the conference are likely reasons why West Virginia is expected to win.

Soon after the game ended on Saturday night, the Big 12 announced WVU and Cincinnati will kickoff at 2:30 pm ET and the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Former Mountaineer legendary head coach Don Nehlen will have his name immortalized on Milan Puskar Stadium during the game. The game with Cincinnati will conclude West Virginia’s 2023 home season.
