The younger brother of one of the best players in the WPIAL and a member of what could become one of Western Pennsylvania’s first families when it comes to football, Andy Tatsch has a resource like few others at his disposal.

His older brother Alex is a four-star recruit, a member of the ESPN Top 300 and a future Penn State Nittany Lion. To hear the Tatsch’s tell it, Andy’s younger brother Tony, still just in seventh grade, might end up being the fastest of the three.

That leaves Andy, a Power Four prospect in his own right. He described what it’s like having Alex “pave the way” for him, motivating him to perform his best and setting an example of hard work and leadership for him to live up to.

“Definitely always pushing ourselves. Like if Alex is in the weight room, I don’t want him to outwork me. [I’m] lifting my little brother Tony up, trying to be a role model,” Andy Tatsch said. “[Alex is] really just paving the way for me. It’s helping out a lot.”

A 6-foot-2, 185 pound speedster who plays both wide receiver and defensive back for Greater Latrobe, he picked up an offer from WVU football during a summer football camp.
