Watch: Dante Stills Makes Key Play in Cardinals Win with Sack of Justin Herbert

Former Mountaineer Dante Stills continues to make plays in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals. On Monday night, Stills made one of the key plays of the game.

The West Virginia native and WVU product took down Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert as Los Angeles was flirting with the end zone in the third quarter. At the time of the sack, the Cardinals led 7-6. They ended up winning 17-15.

Overall in 2024, Stills has 18 total tackles and two sacks – his first one came against Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff. He registered 47 tackles, 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble during his rookie season in 2023.

In addition to posting the video of the sack, the Cardinals showed their appreciation for Stills by adding a second post with a “playmaker” caption.

After a record setting college career at WVU, the Cardinals drafted Stills in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
