WVU Football against TCU

On the eve of the game, oddsmakers are still not confident in West Virginia’s attempt at handing TCU their first loss and claiming that recently elusive big win for the program.

The line for WVU’s matchup with the undefeated Horned Frogs, which opened with TCU favored by 7, has mostly held steady all week, even increasing slightly, and sitting at -7.5. This line is courtesy of BetMGM and means TCU is expected to win by more than a touchdown.

While the Mountaineers are at home, but have already lost once at Milan Puskar Stadium this season and are reeling following a poor showing in Lubbock, losing to Texas Tech 48-10. On the flip side, TCU is coming into Morgantown as the class of the Big 12 after back-to-back wins against ranked conference opponents.

The loss to the Red Raiders dropped WVU to 3-4 overall and 1-3 in conference play. A win over the 7-0 undefeated Horned Frogs could give Neal Brown and his team the big win they desperately need in an attempt to close this season on a positive note and keep hope of a bowl appearance alive.

This matchup between WVU and TCU will take place at 12 pm EST and be televised nationally on ESPN.
