Mountaineers Fans Ecstatic After WVU Basketball Upset Kansas
Mountaineer fans got the New Year’s celebration started a little early as the WVU basketball team knocked off No. 7 Kansas on the road, 62-61, Tuesday afternoon.
Safe to say fans were happy with the unexpected result, taking to social media to express their excitement for the team and first-year head coach Darian DeVries.
What Darian DeVries has done for WVU basketball this season is nothing short of remarkable, and we still have 19 conference games left.

This basketball team embodies West Virginia so much. Undersized. Overlooked. Tough. Gritty. Never makes excuses. These guys represent this state so well. Love em
