Report: Oakland Transfer F Micah Parrish to Visit West Virginia

It was first reported by Tony Paul of The Detroit News that Oakland transfer Micah Parrish is set to visit West Virginia at some point in the near future.

Parrish entered the transfer portal on April 7, after spending two years at Oakland. The Ypsilanti, MI, native averaged 12.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals during his sophomore season. Oakland played in  Morgantown on Nov. 9 this past year, as Parrish recorded 10 points, 12 rebounds and two steals against the Mountaineers.

Parrish was named to the Horizon League All-Defensive Team in 2022.

The former Oakland forward shot 44 percent from the field, 35 percent from three and 80 percent from the free-throw line.

Parrish has three years of eligibility left. WV Sports Now will keep up to date with the latest recruiting and transfer portal news during the offseason.
