On Thursday afternoon, West Virginia transfer target Norchad Omier released his final four schools, which did not include WVU.

Omier cuts his list down to Florida State, Georgetown, Miami (FL) and Texas Tech. Omier told Nick Lorensen of The Portal Report that he planned on visiting West Virginia, but that is unlikely now.

Omier spent two seasons at Arkansas State, putting up big-time numbers and winning the 2022 Sun Belt Player of the Year award. The Bluefields, Nicaragua, native averaged 17.9 points, 12.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.9 blocks per game. Omier shot 63 percent from the field this past season.

Ever since entering the transfer portal, Omier has been a highly touted transfer, as EvanMiya ranks him the No. 2 transfer in the country. Omier will have three years of eligibility remaining.

West Virginia will host Oakland forward Micah Parrish sometime soon.
