Pat McAfee to be Part of ESPN NFL RedZone-Style Show for CFB

Pat McAfee and Rece Davis

There’s about even more of Pat McAfee on television.

Similar to what McAfee did during select games throughout last season at times, ESPN is launching an ‘NFL Redzone’-style megacast for college football that will involve the WVU great turned media mogul. McAfee and veteran GameDay anchor Rece Davis will serve as the hosts.

This show debuts tonight on ESPN2 and will cover what happened throughout the full slate of games in a casual format. McAfee talked about what he hopes this show will be earlier in the week on his daily show.

Davis will enter McAfee’s famous Thunder Dome to do the broadcast there.

After joining College GameDay last year, McAfee officially brought his talk show that he’s been doing on his own channel for several years to ESPN this fall. To do that, McAfee left his previous sponsorship deal with FanDuel for a big contract with ESPN.
