Once a Mountaineer and then a Panther? Could that be the Ali Jennings story?

The former West Virginia wide receiver, who decided to enter the transfer portal for a second time after spending the past two seasons at Old Dominion, has received an offer from Pitt.

Despite the interesting aspect to the Pitt offer, the Panthers are far from the only program interested in Jennings. He’s also announced offers from Kansas and Washington State, and that’s just to this point.

Jennings is expected to draw lots of attention in the portal after earning First Team All-Sun Belt Conference honors. He led Old Dominion with 54 receptions, 959 yards and nine touchdowns in 2022. Jennings’ touchdown total also topped the conference, as well as his 106.6 yards per game average.

Jennings recorded five 100-yard games this season, highlighted by a 200-yard, three touchdown performance on just eight receptions against East Carolina.

In his two years with the Monarchs, Jennings compiled 116 catches for 2,025 yards and 14 scores.

Jennings was as a member of the West Virginia football program for two seasons in 2019 and 2020, appearing in 19 total games, three being starts, while hauling in 26 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns.
