Poll: Should NCAA Ban Court Storming?
Court storming has became the latest debate within the mainstream college basketball world. Over the weekend, Duke F Kyle Filipowski injured his knee after a loss to Wake Forest, when the students rushed the court to celebrate with the team.
Many have argued whether or not Filipowski initiated contact with the fan or vice versa. Either way, the result has been the calling for court storming to be banned, or at least be more monitored. ESPN analyst Jay Bilas in fact questioned whether or not fans should be detained if they rush the floor.
Back in January, Iowa women’s guard Caitlin Clark was in a similar situation as she collied with an Ohio State fan.
