Published

on

Safety Tykee Smith out of Imhotep Charter in Philadelphia, PA has committed to play at West Virginia.

A four-star recruit and the No. 23 safety in the country, Smith held 21 offers and chose the Mountaineers over Baylor, Pitt, Michigan State and Missouri, among others.

Smith checks in at five-foot-eleven and weighs 190 pounds. Physically, he already looks ready for the college level.

With another big commitment, Tony Gibson is building a defense that will be lethal in the coming years.
