Syracuse Transfer Jesse Edwards

Syracuse transfer Jesse Edwards has cut his list down to three schools: West Virginia, Kansas and Gonzaga, he tells Joe Tipton of On3.

Edwards will be in Morgantown this weekend to visit WVU, his only scheduled visit so far.

Edwards entered the portal early on Tuesday morning with WVU making contact immediately. The 6-foot-11 big has also heard from Arkansas, BYU, Florida, Florida State, Gonzaga, Georgia, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Memphis, Michigan, Missouri, NC State, Seton Hall, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt, according to 24/7 High School Hoops.

Edwards averaged 14.5 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.7 blocks on 59 percent shooting from the field. Edwards was named to the All-ACC Third Team this past season. Edwards has started for the Orange the past two years. The native of the Netherlands enters the portal after long-time Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim retired. Edwards played seven minutes against West Virginia in the second round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

Edwards has one year of eligibility remaining.
