The Road Remaining for WVU

 Kansas State (3-4) – October 11th

This game was one I had circled before the season began. Head coach Bill Snyder has had his way with West Virginia with the exception of last year’s great come-from-behind homecoming win. This matchup has lost a lot of it’s “juice” with starting quarterback Jesse Ertz being injured along with several other Wildcats, but don’t let that fool you. The new signal caller Alex Delton seemed to find his groove last week against Oklahoma and nearly got them a huge win at home.

ESPN’s chance of winning via Football Power Index (FPI): Kansas State 61.3%

My prediction: This game has a similar feel to the Baylor game. I think the Mountaineers jump out to an early lead, but Kansas State is able to complete the comeback, unlike the Bears. Kansas State wins in overtime 44-37.
