Last week, West Virginia offered class of 2021 linebacker recruit Christopher Paul Jr. (6’2″ 210 lbs) of Crisp County HS/Cordele, Georgia.

When asked about what the Mountaineers’ offer meant to him he replied, “The WVU offer is HUGE! This is definitely a dream school of mine. It’s also been a dream of mine to play in a talented conference such as the Big 12. It’s a conference that puts a lot of guys in the league. They are definitely a top three school of mine without a doubt!” Paul Jr. said. “Having your whole state behind you is fantastic. It means you have more fans and more ways to make a recruit feel more special and at home.” he added.

With the amount of interest Paul Jr. has in West Virginia, it appears a visit will be on deck. “I do have plans on visiting in the future. After coach (Vic) Koenning had a great talk with my head coach, he offered me.” he said.

Paul Jr. has a plan in place to get himself prepared for the collegiate level and his faith is part of that preparation. “I’m just going to hope and pray that God helps me with my decision and guides me through the right path. I want to perfect my craft, I feel like I can be better than I am now. Even work on the little things like watch 30 more minutes of film than I usually do.”

Paul Jr. also holds offers from Akron, Cincinnati, Michigan State, TCU and Central Florida and plans to make his decision about this time next year. “I want to enroll early into the school I choose, so I can have the upper hand on all the other recruits and be ahead of the playbook as well.” Paul Jr. stated.
