Big 12
Twitter Reaction: West Virginia Basketball Sent Home to Wait for NCAA Destination

Well, just like that West Virginia’s Big 12 Tournament is over. With the Mountaineers loss to Kansas in the second round on Thursday, WVU will now head home and wait to hear where they will travel to next when the NCCA Tournament begins.
This loss does not put West Virginia in any real jeopardy of not getting into the field, but does cool off a team that been cruising along in recent weeks to earn their sense of comfort.
How did Twitter react to falling at the hands of the Jayhawks once again?

WVU is the worst late clock play running team in the history of college basketball

Beating Kansas was never going to be required to get in for this West Virginia team. The Jayhawks are one of the best in the country and no team will be penalized for losing to them. WVU is still a lock and fine. They did enough off a hard schedule.

Things that are better than watching WVU basketball right now:

You can tell what's happening in the game by just listening to the crowd reactions. So much for a Big XII tournament "neutral site." Running joke of the conference.#WVUBasketball

This team is tired
Time to get some rest

Ball movement, or lack there of, is an issue today. #WVU also has reverted back to turning the ball over at far too high of a rate in this first half. Both big reasons why Kansas has developed a double digit lead. #WVUBasketball

Not a bandwagon, but I start paying attention to wvu basketball when it’s tourney time. Quick question, are we always this sloppy?
