Watch: Garrett Greene to CJ Donaldson Opens Up Scoring with First Backyard Brawl TD
PITTSBURGH – After the 2024 Backyard Brawl endured a feeling out process and a failed first offensive possession, WVU finally found the end zone in the middle of the first quarter.
WVU quarterback Garrett Greene found running back CJ Donaldson open and he ran in for a 10-yard score. Following a successful extra point, the Mountaineers claimed an early 7-0 lead.

Unfortunately for WVU, Pitt would respond quickly by connecting on a big pass play to tie the game.
