Watch: Trick Play in 20T Sends Marshall to Sun Belt Championship Game
Marshall capped off one of the most exciting games of a wild day of college football by winning off a trick play.
The Thundering Herd beat JMU on Saturday night thanks to a walk-off two-point conversion in double overtime.
The video below shows the crazy finish as Marshall won the game 35-33.

Marshall’s epic win needed a big comeback before any of the late-game magic could happen. The Thundering Herd stormed back after trailing 17-0 at halftime to claim their ninth win of the season and a chance to capture the Sun Belt title.
After a disappointing 2023, Charles Huff has his team on the verge of making 2024 an historic year for the Marshall program.
Marshall will now make its first appearance in the Sun Belt Championship Game and an opportunity to win its first conference title since taking home the Conference USA crown in 2014.
