Watch: WVU Players Celebrate with Student Section After Beating TCU

West Virginia fans may have been just as hungry for a win as the players, and it showed after WVU’s win over 14th ranked TCU on Wednesday night.

After the game, the celebration, or more sigh of relief since WVU did have to hang and avoid an epic collapse thanks to a big comeback effort by the Horned Frogs, extended well beyond just the tradition of singing of Country Roads.

On this night, Mountaineer players celebrated with the fans by slapping the hands of those in the student section as they walked, or ran in some cases, off the court with joy.

While one win does not make up for their 0-5 start to Big 12 play and may or may not be enough to secure WVU as firmly back in NCAA Tournament projections, it was worth enjoying to its fullest.

The celebrating can’t last too long though with a matchup against another ranked conference opponent on tap on Saturday against number 7 Texas.
