Neal Brown’s Class of 2022 has 15 members and currently holds a team ranking of No. 23 by Rivals.com.

The Mountaineers have three 4-star recruits in running back Justin Williams, cornerback Jacolby Spells and quarterback Nicco Marchiol and that number could be rising in the next few days.

Philadelphia 4-star wide receiver Kevin Thomas had previously planned to make his commitment on July 31st but has moved up that date. Thomas announced on Saturday that he now plans on making his college decision on July 28. The playmaking wide out tells West Virginia Sports Now that his five finalists are West Virginia, Nebraska, Florida, Michigan State and Texas A&M.

Thomas (6’3″, 200) is ranked by Rivals.com as one of the Top 30 wideouts in the country and the No. 7 from Pennsylvania in the Class of 2022.

Thomas made his official visit to West Virginia during the weekend of June 11 and WV Sports Now believes that his final decision will be coming down to West Virginia and Michigan State, where he visited during the last weekend of June.

On Friday, West Virginia received a commitment from Thomas’ teammate, linebacker Raleigh Collins and hope to add him in four days.
