Another three-star wide receiver announces that he’s received an offer from the Mountaineers.

Corey Smith, a member of the 2024 recruiting class out of Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana, tweeted that the offer came Friday afternoon after a conversation with WVU tight ends coach Blaine Stewart. Listed at 6’2″, 170 pounds, the wide receiver is considered one of the top players at his position in the state.

He’s ranked as the number 15 player in his class in the state of Indiana and the number 117 wide receiver nationally, according to 247 Sports.

West Virginia now becomes Smith’s seventh offer from a Division 1 school. Akron, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, Miami (OH), Minnesota and Western Michigan have also shown interest in Smith.

Below includes a video of one of Smith’s highlights.
