West Virginia Football to Hold Walk-on Tryouts

The West Virginia University football program will be hosting a workout for students interested in joining the team as a walk-on on Monday, Aug. 22.

The tryout will be held at 6 a.m. at the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility next to Milan Puskar Stadium.

To register, scan and email copies of proof of insurance, a completed physical form (must be within the last six months), proof of registration as a full-time West Virginia student (copy of class schedule with total number of credits listed), a completed compliance form and proof of a prior sickle cell test to tyler.allen@mail.wvu.edu.

All materials must be submitted by 4 p.m. Sunday to be eligible to tryout. There will be no walk-up registration permitted at the workout.

Students must attend the tryout in athletic gear in order to participate. All prospective players must be free from all classroom obligations after 12:30 p.m. every day to be able to fully participate in fall practice.
