West Virginia in Contact With Wichita State Transfer Dexter Dennis

West Virginia has made contact with Wichita State transfer guard Dexter Dennis, first reported by Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

Dennis (6-foot-5, 210 pounds) has also heard from ETSU, Hofstra, Indiana, Loyola Chicago, Mercer, Pitt, Stetson, South Alabama, UCF, Wake Forest.

Dennis spent four seasons at Wichita State under two head coaches in Gregg Marshall and Isaac Brown, starting in majority of games throughout his four years. This past season, Dennis averaged 8.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27 games. Dennis was a big part of the Shockers’ 2021 NCAA Tournament appearance in his junior season.
