West Virginia Reaches Out to Oregon Transfer Big Franck Kepnang
As first reported by Andrew Slater, West Virginia has reached out to Oregon transfer big man Franck Kepnang. Kepnang entered the transfer portal on Monday.
Along with WVU, Cincinnati, Georgetown, Iowa State, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pitt, Saint Mary’s, Washington and Wichita State have also reached out to the former Duck.
Kepnang (6-foot-11, 225 pounds) spent two seasons at Oregon, appearing in 52 games for Dana Altman. Kepnang averaged 4.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game last season.
Kepnang will have three years of eligibility remaining. WV Sports Now will keep you up to date with the latest recruiting and transfer portal news during the offseason.
