West Virginia Offers Runningback from Georgia

Published

on

West Virginia is back in the Peach State to offer Cedartown, Georgia’s Tony Mathis. The 6`0″ 195 pounds running back is a quick and elusive back that can hit the hole in a split second. He has soft hands to catch the ball out of the backfield. Mathis’ vision is stellar along with his strength. Tony can block for the quarterback and also follow his blocks down field.

Mathis is very excited about the WVU offer because he is a huge Tavon Austin fan. He likes the program and plans to visit real soon. Tony thinks about playing in the Big XII. He doesn’t have a top list of school or a decision date set yet. He molds his game around Dalvin Cook.

For this upcoming season Mathis wants his team to win a Georgia state championship and he wants to improve on his route running.
