West Virginia Opens as Touchdown Favorite Against Texas Tech
Despite a heartbreaking loss to No. 6 Oklahoma last week, West Virginia more than covered a large spread against the Sooners. So… take the victories where you can?
After entering as a 17 point underdog last week, the Mountaineers will attempt to cover yet another spread this season. WVU opens as a touchdown favorite against Texas Tech this week at Milan Puskar Stadium. The over/under is set at 54.5 points.

WVU is 3-1 against the spread this season, the only mishap coming against Maryland in week one after turning the ball over four times in College Park, Maryland. The Mountaineers successfully covered -2.5 and +17 odds against Virginia Tech and Oklahoma over the last two weeks.
Texas Tech is coming off a 35 point beatdown at the hands of Texas, failing to cover a +9 spread. The Red Raiders are 2-2 against the spread this season, covering the spread against Houston and Florida International in wins this season.
