West Virginia Reaches Out to Recent Pair of Transfer Portal Entries

West Virginia basketball has made contact with Towson G Nicolas Timberlake and Harvard F Chris Ledlum, a source tells WV Sports Now.

Timberlake and Ledlum both entered the transfer portal this week.

Timberlake (6-foot-4) averages 17.7 points on 46 percent from the field, 42 percent from three and 85 percent from the free throw line. Timberlake has recorded 12 20-plus-point games this past season, with his season-high of 34 points against Charleston. Timberlake has been selected to the All-Colonial Team twice in his career. The Maintree, MA native has one year of eligibility remaining.

Ledlum (6-foot-6) averages 18.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.1 blocks through 28 games. The Brooklyn, NY native shot 47 percent from the field. Ledlum has two years of eligibility left.

West Virginia has a transfer portal commitment from Omar Silverio (Manhattan) so far. Silverio last played at Hofstra, averaging 10.9 points on 36 percent shooting from three.
