The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning West Virginia University Athletics.

**Update (3:20 p.m.) – 

The swimming and diving team announces the hiring of women’s associate head coach Lauren Cassano. Cassano comes to the team after spending last season at Saint Francis.

**Update (12:50 p.m.) –

West Virginia offered 2023 three-star cornerback JC Hart (6-foot-2, 175-pounds) yesterday. Hart has received 26 total offers, but is currently project to go to Auburn on 247Sports which is his hometown college.
