Update (7:00 PM) – 

WVU transfer forward James Okonkwo has committed to North Carolina on Thursday night, per his social media accounts. Okonkwo entered the transfer portal on June 26.

Update (4:30 PM) – 

West Virginia transfer Jose Perez has heard from a handful of schools since entering the transfer portal on Wednesday morning.

Perez tells WV Sports Now that he has heard from Gonzaga, Michigan and Georgia Techand tells Joe Tipton of On3 that Oregon and Oklahoma have contacted him as well. Perez also mentions to WVSN that he is open to returning to West Virginia.

West Virginia basketball forward Josiah Harris is applying to graduate after his freshman year. Harris is completing his bachelor’s degree this summer and will walk in December.
