The West Virginia Sports Now Daily Notebook is a daily recap of news concerning WVU Athletics.
Update (8:20 PM) –
Class of 2024 offensive tackle Justin Terry (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) from Pickerington Central Highschool in Pickerington, Ohio tweeted that “he’s locked in” with West Virginia.
Terry, a three-star recruit, received 12 Division I offers, but WVU was his only Power Five opportunity. He’s now committing a month after the offer.
Update (5:24 PM) –
Former WVU QB Jarret Doege will get the start for the CFL’s Edmonton Elks this Friday. He threw a couple touchdown passes in their last game.

Bruce Irvin to be inducted into the WVU Sports Hall of Fame.
Update (11:30 AM) –
It is official. The WVU football program has announced the signing of another transfer defensive back.
This comes about two months after Georgia Southern transfer Anthony Wilson revealed he was committing to West Virginia. “I’m comin,” Wilson wrote on Twitter at the time.

Class of 2024 WR/DB Jordan Kaiser (5-foot-11, 160 pounds) out of Virginia tweets about competing with the WVU football team at a 7 on 7 tournament.
