WVU Football Signs Georgia Southern Transfer DB
It is official. The WVU football program has announced the signing of another transfer defensive back.
This comes about two months after Georgia Southern transfer Anthony Wilson revealed he was committing to West Virginia. “I’m comin,” Wilson wrote on Twitter at the time.

Wilson (5-foot-10) entered the transfer portal three weeks ago with two years left of eligibility after an honorable mention on the All-Sun Belt Team. Wilson received offers from Charlotte, Louisville, West Virginia and others during his short time in the portal.
Wilson recorded 101 total tackles, 60 solo. The Columbia, SC., native has two interceptions during his career, one in 2020 and another this past season. Wilson was named to the All-Sun Belt Third Team in 2021.
