Feeling as if their team blew the game, WVU basketball fans are voicing their frustrations about how the Mountaineers’ lost the game to Clemson in their opening game of the Charleston Classic on Friday night.

To his credit, West Virginia head coach Ross Hodge put the blame on himself after the game.

“One-hundred percent my fault. One-hundred percent on me. I should have called a timeout. Saw it kind of like seeing a train wreck happen right in front of your eyes and you freeze. Again, that was 100% my fault. Should have got the trail official. Should have got the timeout and not even put B-Lo in that position,” said Hodge.

But Hodge’s comments don’t seem to be making WVU basketball fans feel any better. With the loss, West Virginia is now 5-1 on the year.
