WVU Basketball Mentioned in Latest Joe Lunardi Bracketology

ESPN college basketball analyst Joe Lunardi mentioned WVU basketball in his most recent Bracketology Thursday. He includes WVU as being outside of the “next four out” section, meaning the Mountaineers would miss the tournament.

WVU is listed alongside VCU, Butler, Boise State, Creighton and Oklahoma State.

The Mountaineers currently sport a 13-0 home record, most recently defeating Kansas State 59-54. On top of Kansas State, WVU has defeated Cincinnati, Colorado, Arizona Stateand No. 22 Kansas. WVU currently sits at No. 57 in the Kenpom rankings.

The Mountaineers have 10 more regular season games with five being at home at Hope Coliseum.

WVU basketball will play again at 4 p.m. on Saturday when the Mountaineers host Baylor.
