Prominent ESPN Analyst Has High Praise for WVU Basketball
WVU basketball and Ross Hodge recently received an endorsement from ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla in a post on X after the team’s 59-54 win over Kansas State Tuesday.
Fraschilla expects a “bright future” for Hodge and the Mountaineers, as WVU is 5-3 in Big 12 play with the only losses being to Associated Press top 10 teams on the road.
On top of Kansas State, WVU has beaten Cincinnati, Colorado, Arizona State and No. 22 Kansas. WVU currently sits at No. 57 in the Kenpom rankings.
The WVU roster features the nation’s fourth-place leader in three-pointers made in senior guard Honor Huff. He has averaged a team-high 16.3 points per game, helping WVU to its undefeated 13-0 record at home.
The Mountaineers have 10 more regular season games with five being at home at Hope Coliseum.
WVU basketball will play again at 4 p.m. on Saturday when the Mountaineers host Baylor.
