WVU football Center Zach Frazier will be starting the 2023 season on at least one All-America team.

On Friday, Frazier was announced as a member of the prestigious Walter Camp FBS Preseason All-America team. He made the second team for the second year in a row.

Frazier is coming off an impressive 2022 campaign individually. The West Virginia native registered 51 knockdown blocks and helped WVU’s ground attack average more than 171 yards per game. He also had standout performances like recording nine knockdown blocks in West Virginia’s victory at Virginia Tech, had eight against Kansas and seven versus Oklahoma.

Frazier was a key part of a WVU offensive line that didn’t allow a sack in 11 of their 12 games last year.

Walter Camp is the nation’s oldest college football All-America team. Camp, widely considered the “Father of American football,” first started picking All-America teams in 1889 and the honor has lived on ever since.
