WVU a Finalist for 2022 4-Star OT Brody Meadows; Announcing Decision Today

The West Virginia football Class of 2022 has a chance to add a talented player later today.

4-star offensive tackle Brody Meadows (6-foot-6, 270 pounds) from Bluefield, Virginia will announce his college decision this afternoon at 3 p.m. and he tells West Virginia Sports Now that his four finalists, in no particular order, are: West Virginia, Virginia, Georgia Tech and Tennessee.

Prior to announcing his decision, West Virginia Sports Now contacted Meadows about his big day and asked him what allowed West Virginia to be one of his finalists?

“WVU was close to home and would allow my family to come watch me and attend the games,”said Meadows. “Coach Moore, their offensive line coach has been the coach recruiting me. He was very professional and a great all around guy.”

It should be pointed out that Virginia was the only place that Meadows took an official visit to and I asked him about that.

“I never got to visit West Virginia because of how my junior football season fell and also because of COVID restrictions on visiting.”

His home state of Virginia would appear to be the favorite but you never know in the world of recruiting. Once again, Meadows will make his official decision at 3 p.m.

Update (3:04 PM): Meadows commits to Virginia.
