WVU Football 2023 Game Promotions Revealed

While the excitement level surrounding the WVU football 2023 season is all over the place, it’s fast approaching nonetheless.

And now to offer the potential for a bit more excitement, the game promotions are out to inform Mountaineer Nation of what game offers besides just the opponent.

The home season kicks off with a night edition of Family Day with a matchup against Duquesne. Up next is the following week when Pitt travels to Morgantown for the Backyard Brawl. West Virginia looks to avenge last year’s loss in Pittsburgh with the help of a Stripe the Stadium atmosphere.

WVU HC Neal Brown on 2023 Backyard Brawl: ‘We Need to Win the Game’

Big 12 play then begins with Texas Tech in Morgantown for a Gold Rush game. The WVU Sports Hall of Fame’s 203 class, that we now know includes Bruce Irvin, will also be honored during this game.

Oklahoma State is Homecoming, BYU will be part of Mountaineer Week and Military Appreciation and West Virginia’s last appearance of the season at Milan Puskar Stadium is scheduled as Senior Day against Cincinnati.
