WVU Football Goes with Golden Uniforms to Open Big 12 Play

WVU football hopes gold is a lucky color as they open up Big 12 play.

As usual, West Virginia revealed their weekly look on Thursday evening by posting a video and images with the uniform combination for this Saturday.

The Mountaineers will wear an all gold uniform against Texas Tech. That means a gold helmet, gold jersey and gold pants. With gold as the base color, blue is everything else.

The helmet has the traditional flying WV logo in blue and the number and logos are also in blue. It’s then just golf for the pants.

Regardless what the team wears, the focus will be on how the Mountaineers play on the field. And even though WVU is entering the game coming off a big win and at 2-1, the 1-2 Red Raiders are a road favorite.
