WVU Football OL recruit Mason McDermott at Indiana

Looking into the home of the national champions for talent, the WVU football program sent an offer to a highly touted offensive line prospect.

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, Mason McDermott revealed his West Virginia offer on Monday night. WVU senior offensive assistant coach Travis Trickett is McDermott’s lead recruiter.

McDermott attends Indiana’s Noblesville High School as a member of the upcoming 2027 class.

Ranked within the ESPN top 300, McDermott is a consensus four-star recruit and considered one of the top five players in the state and one of the top 30 offensive tackles in the country.

McDermott does have an Indiana offer, but has yet to commit to the Hoosiers. They did invite him to their national title celebration event.
