WVU Baseball No Longer Ranked in One Poll, Stays in Top 25 of Another
After being ranked most of the season, WVU baseball dropped out of one major poll.
As of Monday, March 9, West Virginia is no longer within D1 Baseball’s top 25. They were ranked at No. 21 last week.
Baseball America still has WVU inside their poll, coming in at No. 22. Perfect Game has yet to rank the Mountaineers this season.
Despite winning another series, West Virginia dropped the first game of their three-game set against Columbia on Friday and needed a walk-off grand slam off Brodie Kresser to win following day.
The Mountaineers are now 10-2 at the start of the week.
