WVU Football Offers 2025 DB Out of Laurel Highlands High School
A day after receiving an offer from Pitt, class of 2025 recruit Antwan Black Jr. also earned one from the WVU football program as well.
Black is a product of Laurel Highlands High School in Pennsylvania and a former teammate of West Virginia freshman and top recruit Rodney Gallagher. He played mainly at cornerback for the Mustangs last season, starring in a strong defense for the Mustangs that allowed just around 17 points per game.

Black excels in coverage when playing in man at cornerback. His speed keeps him around his receiver at all times and he combines it with great tackling ability to take down receivers after they make a catch. His quickness on offense allows him to get away from defenders on the ground or in the air and his great hands make him a daunting passing threat.
