Always looking to further their strong tradition of quality running backs, the WVU football program offered New Jersey product Chase Enlow on Tuesday.

Enlow (5-foot-9, 195 pounds) plays for Hun High School in Freehold, N.J. The Mountaineers become the third Division I school to send an offer to Enlow in the month of May, joining Virginia and Virginia Tech.

On3 Sports and 247 Sports have both awarded Enlow three stars and ranked him as a top 10 prospect in New Jersey and among the top 30 running backs in the country.

Boston College, Charlotte, Duke, Temple and Rutgers have also offered Enslow and bigger names schools like Maryland, Notre Dame, Penn State and Syracuse have shown interest as well. He’s spent time visiting each of these programs.

Enlow’s averaged 9.1 yards per carry and 15.5 yards per reception in 2023. He’s totaled 1,087 yards on the ground and 492 as a receiver for 1579 all-purpose yards so far in high school career. Enslow has also scored 19 overall touchdowns.

The link below shows highlights from Enlow’s most recent season.

While West Virginia has the benefit of starting running backs Jaheim White and CJ Donaldson both having multiple years of eligibility remaining and a strong class behind them, no program can ever know who will be on its roster each year and Enlow still has a couple years before he enters college.
