WVU Football Officially Offers 2026 3-Star OL After Recent Visit
The WVU football program is looking up north in the middle of Big Ten country when it comes to building the offensive line of the future.
On Friday, a 2026 three-star offensive tackle from Michigan revealed an offer from West Virginia. Listed at 6-foot-7, 290 pounds, Owen Winder added WVU to his list of offers after a receiving a call from WVU offensive line coach Matt Moore.

Winder is currently a junior at Dexter High School in Dexter, Mich. Winder recently attended the West Virginia-Kansas game, getting to watch the Mountaineers comeback in the final minutes to beat Kansas.
West Virginia marks Winder’s 10th Division I offer to date. His other offers include Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Duke, Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), Toledo and Western Michigan.
247 Sports ranks Winder as the No. 15 player in Michigan and the No. 42 nationally. He’s also been in contact with programs like BYU, Notre Dame, Pitt and Rutgers among others.
