WVU Football Sends Early Offer to Multi-Sport Delaware ATH

Most fans are focused on the season ahead, but that doesn’t mean the WVU football program isn’t also looking to the future as well. And earlier in the week, West Virginia sent an offer to a three-sport athlete in the 2027 class.

Daniel “DJ” Davis, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete out of Middletown, Del., revealed WVU as his latest offer earlier in the week. This actually marks Davis’ second WVU offer, granted his first from Rich Rodriguez’s staff. The previous staff sent Davis an offer in November of 2024.

A two-time state champion at Middletown High School, Davis carries three stars and is rated as the No. 2 player in Delaware for his class by 247 Sports.

Davis has offers from a variety of program across the Power Four and Group of Five levels. His current list includes Boston College, Charlotte, Duke, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, ODU, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Temple, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
