With Rich Rodriguez on the hunt for a big play weapon to add to his new offense at WVU, he’s going to bring in Clemson transfer wide receiver Troy Stellato for a visit.

Stellato, a former four-star recruit, is scheduled to check out the West Virginia program on Jan. 5, according to a report from Pete Nakos of On3 Sports on Monday.

A Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native, Stellato would bring Power Four experience and production to the Mountaineers. He made 25 receptions for 264 yards and a touchdown in 2024 and caught 66 balls for 616 yards during his time with the Tigers.

Stellato still has two years left of eligibility, making him an option for more than just one season. It also should be noted that Stellato battled multiple injuries throughout his time at Clemson, hurting his chances to get on the field.

Despite being relatively quiet on social media since announcing his plans to transfer on Dec. 3, WV Sports Now can confirm Arkansas, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Pitt and UCF are among the schools to reach out to Stellato.
