West Virginia guard Joe Toussaint plans on returning to WVU for his fifth season of eligibility, as he posted a video on social media on Friday.

Toussaint transferred from Iowa last offseason and inserted himself in a six-man role for Bob Huggins. The Bronx, NY. native averaged 9.4 points in 34 games during his senior season. Toussaint had memorable performances against Pitt, Iowa State and Texas Tech this past season.

Toussaint will join a core of guards that include transfers Kerr Kriisa, Jose Perez and Omar Silverio; as well as potential returns from Seth Wilson and Kobe Johnson.

West Virginia awaits decisions from Tre Mitchell and Jimmy Bell regarding their COVID opt-ins. WVU, as of Friday afternoon, have one spot to fill for the 2023-24 season.
